Job Description
• Regularly update program management and monitoring tools and maintain central database for tracking progress and effectively delivering reproductive health programs in target areas.
Management of the emergency reproductive health program including the provision of technical support, training and capacity building, representation and control of financial and other resources and development of RH proposals.
• Provide technical guidance to support MoH (in provision of inpatient therapeutic care), Save the Children staff in implementation of RH program and Community Mobiliser and outreach staff/volunteers at project sites/local communities. Generate timely high quality reports, program briefer, presentations, publications and IEC materials, maintain RH grant files, RH photo-gallery and documentation of success stories from the field.
Requirements
• Medical doctor preferably with postgraduate qualification in public health
• Demonstrated 3 to 5 years of overall experience in the health sector; and a minimum of 2 years of specific development sector experience
• Highly skilled and experienced in Safe motherhood, family planning and GBV programming in crisis situations
• Experience of writing donor proposals and reports with various donors and understanding of the log frame or results framework
