Applications on the prescribed forms, available from the University Enquiry Office, are invited for appointment to the following posts at University of Engineering & Technology. Peshawar. The requisite qualification and experience for these posts are given below:

1. Registrar (BPS-20) (Regular) Age limit: Upto 50 Years Master Degree/L L.B or equivalent from an HEC recognized University/ Institution with 15 years teaching / Administration experience in a University in BPS-17 and above OR 13 years experience In administration in BPS-17 and above under the Government / Autonomous / Semi Autonomous body
2. Professor (BPS-21) (Regular) Electronics Engg: Abbottabad Age limit: Upto 50 Years Ph D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/ Institution. 12 years teaching / research expenence in a recognized Institution/ College/ University or 12 years professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization out of which 5 years must be teaching experience OR 10-years post-Ph.D teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. 12 research publications (with at-least 3 publications in the last 5 years) In HEC/PEC recognized Journals.
3. Associate Professor (BPS-20) (Regular) Electronics Engg: Abbottabad Age limit: Upto 45 Years Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/ Institution 7 years teaching / research expenence in a recognized Institution/ College/ University or 7 years professional expenence in the relevant field in a national or international organization out of which 2 years must be teaching experience. OR 5-years post-Ph.D teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. 8 research publications (with at-least 2 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC/PEC recognized Journals.
4. Oirector Media & Publications (BPS-18) (2 years contract basis) Age limit: Upto 40 Years • Master’s Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism with 1 st division or with 3 0 CGPA (out of 4) from an HEC recognized University • At least seven years relevant experience in media and publications. • Should be proficient in MS Office • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Legal Advisor (on retainer-ship basis) @ Rs: 100.000 per month • LLB Degree from an HEC recognized University. • At least 15 years expenence as Advocate in Higher Courts out of which 5 years should be in Supreme Court • He/She will be required to advise the University on all aspects of its operations. He/She should be familiar with good practice within law as it relates to service matters, academics and financial management of the University and should be able to lead and advise the University on all such legal issues. • He/She will be required to plead legal cases as Legal Counsel of the University in different courts.
6. Technical Officer (BPS-16) (Regular) Directorate of Media & Publications Age limit: Upto 35 Years Master’s degree in social sciences (minimum 2nd class) with 05-years experience in dealing with pnnting & publications in govt / recognized pnvate organization. The candidate must possess practical experience and expertise in computer graphics. Corel Draw. Inpage Urdu. MS Office. Adobe Photoshop etc and use of relevant electronic equipments.
NOTE
1. Applications, accompanied by attested copies of educational certificates, expenence certificates. CNIC. one recent photograph and Registration Card of Pakistan Engineering Council (For Engineers only) must reach the undersigned on or before 20th October. 2011. 2 The applicants for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should also submit the following:-
I. Four copies of the list of research publications showing names of publications and journals, il. Four sets of reprints of the publications.
3. Those, who have already applied for the post of Registrar on contract basis, should apply afresh
4. In-service candidates must apply through proper channel by the due date, otherwise their applications will not be entertained.
5. Only short listed candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for interview.
6. Incomplete applications and applications without supporting documents shall be rejected without intimation to the candidates.
