   Final Year Project: Automatic Emergency Fire Extinguasure and Security System
   Objective:
   This project consists of nearly all the major operations which are necessary in a fire sensing and suppression system. This system will sense the fire through smoke and heat sensor (present in every zone of the plant) which is connected with the PLC. As soon as the smoke is sensed, the system will start the fire alarm (siren) and visual signalling, shut down the plant’s electrical and gas supplies, start smoke exhaustion, shut the doors and windows of the effected zone, Open the “Fire Exit Door” and start sprinkling of water only in the effected zone turn ON the “carbon dioxide gas valve” after 5 minutes for rapid fire extinguishing. GSM modem is used to deliver an emergency message when the fire breaks out.

   • Worked as a Biomedical Engineer of the Electro-medical Department.
   • Responsible of repair, service, installation and implementation of planned preventive maintenance
   • Program of all types of medical equipment.
   • Performing the day-to-day maintenance, Safety inspections, routine calibration and service of various medical equipment.
   • Purchasing the spares and accessories of medical equipment as per the requirement.
   Internship at Liaqat National Hospital – Karachi:
   (From June-05-2010 to August-10-2010)
   • Performed analysis support and data collection for product development including neuro-critical care applications and brain monitoring and neurological research programs.
